IEMs + DAPs on Airlines

I just wanted to know if Singapore Airlines is currently allowing to carry IEMs and IPods/DAPs on board it's aircrafts?

of cos sia allow earphones and mp3 devices

for tat matter, any other airlines too

u just have to off it when taking off and landing.

 

i use iem w airline adaptor for the inflight entertainment system

can block out aircraft noise

I got my adapter at SL tower for 2.80 each. Works fine during my trips.

IEMs + Aircraft adaptor + DAP or inflight system really helps to remove most of the aircraft noise. I always use it on my trips.

On my recent trip to Jakarta on Lufthansa, I got upgraded to business class and tried their supplied Senns noise cancelling headphones on board. These things really work for the engine noise, the low rumble just disappears. The higher frequency sound like the air rushing pass the aircraft still gets thru the headphones. These are open headphones, not sure what model as not stated.

 

My modded iem CK7 doesn't provide as much isolation from engine noise as the Senns. So, if you can't sleep on planes, active noise cancelling phones do work. The Sony IEM with noise cancelling must be great for flights.
