What is the best way to send money to indonesia for my maid? Anyone?

Remit it back. There're many such remittance agencies at lucky plaza. You pay then a small fee each time you remit money back. It's usually quite safe and reliable. My family maid does that too but she's a Filipino.

Depends on what service you're using at the post office,

Western Union charges fixed amounts by tiers, I believe,

whereas

foreign money order charges by percentage of remitted amount.

the remittance shops like the ones in lucky plaza should be the best since i see alot of foreigners themselves using the services.

If the maids send money, they get charged less for the service than for others.That's what my maids over the years told me.

Reliable? I think so, haven't heard a complaint from any of my maids in the past except some were slow. Ask your maid to ask around. Get the views of the end-users.
