snowparang 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2003 hi gurus, may I know what mp3 players do you use? Anybody did a test on these 3 or others? I personally find kernel streaming (foobar2k) the best, using my onboard sound and cheap BEhringer headphones..... Also, where to get the ASIO plugin for Winamp? Winamp -> kernel stream = how? Tenson 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2003 I have put the Asio dll for winamp version 2.XX on my geocities site to make it easy for me to link too. www.geocities.com/fuzzey_door/winamp-asio.zip Just put the dll into the "winamp\plugins\ " directory and it will turn up in the preferances for output plugins. Be warned however that not all soundcards have asio support. Rgds,

Firefox 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2003 Using Winamp 2.xx with MAD plug-in and Waveout is pretty much better than the default Winamp plug-ins. Coolplayer isn't shabby either. Matching up to the above while being less of a resource hog. Testing out Foobar now. Ain't too bad. But I'm not a MP3's freak...
