Which 8gb mp3 player to get?

Recommended Posts

Hi people, just another 'what-to-buy' thread. :))

I'm looking for a 8gb mp3 player and have narrowed down my choices to iPod nano, Meizu M6SL or Creative Zen. Any preferences, or other recommendations?

I use a 4G iPod and use the headphone out only. Currently using a Koss KSC75 and a JVC FX33 Marshmallow (I should seriously upgrade this pair).

in fact i'm using the Jvc Fx33 with my Cowon D2 now, and i find its good actually.....between ur 3 choices, i would suggest the Meizu M6 SL for its sound quality and its more 'fun factor' too, becoz Ipod Nano's sound quality isn't very good unless u use an amp, and then i had the latest Creative Zen b4 i had the Cowon, though its sound quality was alright, but it was a very 'boring' player

You should check out the creative zen! Nice look and design (black glossy casing), memory expansion slot with the ability to support sdhc cards and great audio. Brilliant screen color, it looks great for video.

Thanks for the responses. Just a question for those using the D2, are you able to create multiple playlist (other than the dynamic playlist) using Windows Media Player or the included software on the cd?

Yes but when I tried with mine it stuck :bash: In addition, you have to install WM11 in order to use it.
