sgheadphones? maybe more than that?

Recommended Posts

I suggest maybe it would be better if sgheadphones is changed to sgaudiophiles

Since singapore lack an active audiophile website. HWZ audiophile section is crap. few ppl have got da knowledge as compared to here.

And since sgheadphones is 1/2way there....

And it will attract more SG audiophiles.

i prefer sgheadphones to focus on headphones as the local headphone community is kinda small (correct me if i'm wrong)

so it's this forum's job to bring more people into headphones! tongue.gif

There are already quite a number of local audiopiles. This is the only audio site that focus on HP.

All audio eqpt is more or less related. Personally think that SgHP should remain its focus, but this doesn't mean that topics on cdp, cable, spk, etc are not discussed here. They are side-dishes, the main course is still HP/AHG/EP/EB/ES.

Pls Note the follows:

HP - HeadPhone(not HandPhone)

AHG - Audio Head Gear

EP - Earphone

EB - EarBud

ES - EarSpeaker

Slightly side tracking:

I just realised that other than Singapore, four other countries are represented in the last meet.

Malaysia- huangyoung, jasonhanjk and mychew

Indonesia- Blues Guy

China- voxel

Brunei- N@z and me

definitely for Singapore Headphones meet. yes.gif

Signs are good for SGHeadphones, maybe etys.gif

australian.. yeah.. kinda forget them. So wortel.. what have u got to say biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif .. when r u comingman.

I am happy the way the forum is run . Hm.. very good. Not much OT ,.. i mean in those serious topics and the gear sale forum also. Can't imagine it only started the beginning of this year and we already have dunno how many active members. holiday.gif

Specialising in headphone and amp makes the forum better as all the information can be found very easily(concentrated), as opposed to covering the entire hi fi section.

Yeah I agree with you there Blues Guy, SGHeadphones can be a good referrence point for the immediate region due to the fact we are also an English speaking Forum.

Hmm! do I see a nationality survey thread coming?!?

Cross-border is the key word nowadays....so even the Meet could be held at some border of say between Indonesia/SIN, or Brunei/Sarawak or Malaysia/Thailand, make it a regional activity. wink.gif
