adhoc 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2003 mackie, hrmm aluminium is NOT a flexible metal. i believe it's annealed spring steel, as in the same sort of springy steel they use to make springs. the annealing gives it the weird colour. and in case you all are wondering, yes mine seem to be rusting. there is this tiny bit of very very very fine brown powder. crap. time for the acid and oil treatment i guess.
