ablaze 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 honestly I don't think its really worth it IMHO. cost savings are miniscule compared to how much work its gonna be to coordinate a power buy..
jtfoo 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 (edited) I already placed the order with Tangent together for PCB, meta42 cascode set, browndog soic to DIL adapter(not needed, but nice to have).... I suggest you guys also order Tangent's the Meta42 cascode set which is actually 4 pieces of 2N5484 needed for class A biasing for the PPA(at least 3 piece). The 2N5486 can be ordered from Farnell locally. Jason, since you're a NUS student, then the group buy for the HA5002 can get 10% off. Also theres the 1455N1601 Hammond ecnlosure which the PCB are suppose to fit nicely into at roughly $37.. Edited August 26, 2003 by jtfoo
jasonhanjk 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 (edited) Sure thing. Later date may need your info on getting the parts at cheap price... The main thing is to get that buffer at low price for everyone... Edited August 26, 2003 by jasonhanjk

jasonhanjk 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2003 Guys, more updates. Barradio, you may like to indicate which item you would like. Iconic, I need to be pre-paid before making any purchase. Do you have any internet banking or what so ever. Also the final destination would be Singapore. I don't have intention to sending the parts to overseas yet. Thanks all. ablaze 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Jason, I don't think thats appropriate for a "power buy" thread, since essentially you're selling your services. I think you should start a new thread for completed-PPA prices
