uberburger101 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2009 Definitely needs a better amp. But I want their chair. Almost sounded completely opposite from my RS-1. Larger, more realistic soundstage, neutral, transparent and of course more comfortable. Needed awhile to get used to the lack of colouration. The bass was kind of a let down though, but I think it was mostly the amp's fault. Seemed to be quite revealing as well, but might have been the expensive CDP doing that. The amp there is I believe, not suitable for HD800..Dry on Mids and High.. But in my home with my NX-03, it sounds better! (You know what that means) Haha enjoy!
