KSC35 is great...

Just got a good condition used pair on the net.. and when i first time listen to them i was astonished.. They sound so good that they are comparable to my Grado SR80 .. I was listening to the 12 girls band from china using the KOSS KSC35 for a while and i thought i have put on my grado SR80 instead.. Their detail level is quite up to par with Grado SR80. Stronger Bass compare to SR80, while MId and high the SR80 wins.. SR80 is also more forwarding, more punchy but the KSC35 only loose by a little bit margin only.. The KSC35 also sound more wide unlike the SR80 which sound a little darker compare to the KSC35..The KOSS KSC35 is also easier to drive then the SR80. It is a shame they are priced so cheap and it is definitely the best headphone in the under $100 cat..

Px200 sold!!!.. left EX71

Selling the above cans in mint condition. SEN PX200: About 4mth old, warranty left more than 1 yr 7 mth.. Still got the packaging box plus warranty card + reciept. Price $80 Sony EX71(White): ABout 1 yr plus but still in very good condition. Still got all the size gaskets avalible. Price $40 Selling both cause under utilizing them. Been using my Grado most of the time. Pls PM

The mod on EX70 comprises of removing the paper cover with pin hole and replace with foam. Cut to width and size sparingly; just enough to fill the circumference of the driver cylinder. In addition, U'll notice there are 3 pin ports on the silver caps. U can either fill all of these with Elmer's Glue-all (brand carries cow head) or one by one for I find there are subtle differences. Filling all of which minimizes bass volume. With my Pannie SL-CT790 pcdp, I use one pair of EX70 with smallest buds and none of the pin ports filled. The other pair with larger buds and with 2 pin ports filled. There are subtle differences and have fun experimenting. However, I'm not sure if the same job or effects can be done/had on EX71. p.s. Elmers Glue-all is milky white when wet and transparent dried. It's also very easy to remove akin to peeling a layer of skin. where the paper cover?? izzt the grey driver in the ear bub with a very small hole at the centre?

If u are not looking for single sided coded then there would be more choice... one good choice is Sen PX200..

The wooden one cost only $200?? i might give them a try.. but does the clip on works... it doesn't have the strength like a normal over the head cans thus isolation quite be a problem?

Guys can give other comparasion between the Shure E2c and PX200 and EX71.. interm of audio quality?? waiting to lay my hand on the E2 after my EX71 die..
