From what i know akaline tends to drop the voltage drastically after certain V.. Ni-mAH rechargable are more stable

Guys ..got one last pc of charger from the previous shipment... next shipment would be mid nov if my friend is still able to squeeze in the space for the charger. Test on the MAHA 230mAH 9.6V rechargable.. the voltage after full charge is 10.8V

I just got the TDK tremor SR80 and i am very impress with the sound... it has quite good mids and the soundstage is really wide.... I like the way it can fill a room with music... still burning in... I prefer this to the ATP3

The UM2 cost roughly close to $500... UM1 has single armature driver while UM2 has 2 drivers on each channel.. Basically the UM1 will sound better in term of clarity comparing to stock earbud.. which will sound muddy... Bass quality will also improve after you got a good seal (Very important for IEMs) UM2 beecause of its dual drivers it has much better bass quality in term of tightness and it goes much lower then the UM1... Westone IEMS are famous for its liquid smooth Mids and plenty of it especially for UM2. Thus they are always labelled as very musical. Because these IEMS are very sensitive thus they are quite source independent.. and noise like hissing can actually be a problem for some sources... bring down yr flavorite CDs and source to the retailers recomended here and listen for yrself.. also try the Etymotics and Shure. They have different sound signatures and see which of them suit yr taste and genres of music better.

Yes and i just got the 24V PSU from Jaben... i am shock at how small the PSU/ transformer was... am was rather aware of its performance... I measure the voltage and it show a constant 24.4V.... So does it mean it is regulated??

Nice meeting you there.. and another 2 guys plus Uncle Wilson and staff.. Quite a nice experience and know how one of the world most ex can setup sound... I hear instrument's extension i never hear before... yes vocal, soundstage are almost perfect... Infact it is very easy to pin point the position of the different instruments.. I played Emi Fujita's live concert and it is as thought i am at the concert... 4th and 5th rows while my RS-1 and Cayin combo put me right at the front row.. The clapping part is so real.... However i can't get the details i have in my RS-1 maybe due to the OPEN design and the "noisy" environment there... The bass is actually very good, typical electro-static phone's characteristic... it lack the impact and dynamic bass of the RS-1 & Cayin combo... Therefore it suit only certain genes of music.... However the effortless magical mids and high extension are what this can is worth to die for....

Just listen to the 'king'... One word to discribe.. Magical... I tried to listen to the differences... But very soon i got immersed into the music... Bass is abit disappointing but still very good from an electro static phone.
