  1. Oh you mean you have the flyer? lol I thought you saw their online ad. I think there is no need for you to leave it or post it la. Don't make it sound like I don't trust your eyesight. But nevermind, EG is near Jaben, I can drop by if they're open for business. (Hard to say as they're at Comex?) GV5, left one demo set, be the time I make it to Jaben (If I can make it), also don't know will it still be there or not. Want to buy also cannot la. I also told you the other time thru PM that I might not get it but if the sound is good.......
  2. nakedtoes, sabian: If the Maha charger works and promised as advertised, its worth the money although it seems overkill for a cheap amp. Power is important and especially so if Norm specify it and built the amp based on it. Plus, it can charge it in 2 hrs leh! Where got such thing for cheap 9V chargers? At best, its 8-12 hrs. Also have to note that this is a 9.6V rated batt. Cheap/ordinary chargers do not put out enough voltage to charge the batt effeciently. I got this advise from Thomas Distributing's site. A 9.6V batt requires a higher output voltage from the charger. http://www.thomasdistributing.com/mh-96v230.htm - Read the text in bold and red near the bottom of the page. I've used some cheap chargers and they're not so good and slow. So my advise if you're buying the Go-Vibe V5, go for the Maha batt and charger. sabian, topgun: Thanks for pointing out the 230mAh. They're selling it at Comex? I dun have their flyer. Printing errors can happen.
  3. I can go tomorrow at approx 3.30pm. sms me if you want to go. I'm going to collect my amp.... WT*, ask for pricing so hard to get ah? No vulgarities or obscenities languages used in the forum, thanks.
  4. Wah lao, I can't make it today! I going tomorrow afternoon. How much is it BTW? Or pm me the price? Thanks.
  5. I remembering reading from UE's site that it will have the same design as the current super.fi models and will likely be maroon in colour. They will also have different colours to choose from or customise your earphone. I also don't like its desgin.
  6. Eastgear only have the 200mAh as the 230mAh version is fairly new. If Eastgear has the 230 ones, they surely list it on their site. I've been to their store a few weeks back and only got 200 ones. One fine day, they'll have them but have to wait la. Maybe by end of the year as they have to clear old stocks too. 9.6V will out perform a 9V or 8.4V batt for sure but a 9.6V 200mAh Vs a 9.6V 230mAh batt in terms of batt life, surely you know the winner right?
  7. I support Manchester United and I NEVER select Liverpool's players, even they keep so many clena sheets last season. Ballack is now the top team in this league. I kenna pushed to 3rd!
  8. Wow! Go-Vibe in Jaben! Anyone going tomorrow to have a listen? Nakedtoes, go group buy from Jaben? Uncle Wilson, can bring in those high capacity true 9V Maha 230mAh batt that Norm recommends? Eastgear only have the 200mAh version.
  9. Top 3 scorer for week 3: 1. afbug athletic - 53 2. 17FC - 49 3. Theatre Of Dreams & Gunner Fc - 45 Top 3 in the league remains unchange but I've lost 12 pts for transfering players. alf amateur squad is very close to me now haha.
  10. Sporta Pro has different drivers to the ksc75 but still both sound similar, have the koss sound. Sportapro will be the darker sounding one because of its drivers and the stronger clamping force of its headband. Those that find the ksc75 lack bass and is a little too bright will either prefer a sportapro or a ksc75 with headband attached. So for me, the perfect balance is: sportapro drivers + ksc75's clips ksc75 drivers + sportapro headband. This is what I'm using. If you got a LDM+, it pairs pecfectly with those Koss.
  11. Ah yes, Harvester, Blackened, Beholder, One, Straw etc. Megadeth is better for guitars IMO. Super shreading! For drumming, I think that Justice album is very very good. Puppets and Lightning isn't too bad as well but not as good as Justice to me.

Nice! I like the design. So roundish. Wow that kind of price, I can go for a full custom spec John Parris snooker cue.

Haha if you see cues as a work of art, then good luck to you. If you need just a cue for playing, no fear as you only need one cue and most people do not change cues once they find the right set-up. Set-up = Tip size, weight etc etc and the feel of the cue. One of the best value for money cues are Mastercue. I've them and they're very very good for the money. $140 can get you a brand new machined spliced one and it is the cheapest cue that have a base female joint to accept extensions. Of the 6 cues I posted, which is nicest? From the Mastercraft brand, I really like this one:
  14. Nope. Those MS1 pads are not as comfortable as the 414s to me. Different density of foam. T_T|||, my 414 holes are that size too. If you cannot take the extra treble, then have to get new ones and cut a smaller hole. You can try using a sharp metal bottle cap and press it hard, twisting and using a sharp pen knife to cut for a clean hole.

I add in the cost in my previous post. Mastercue cues' (The 1st two pic in pink background) prices are as posted and avaliable in SG for their production models. Custom ones have to order from the shop and wait for it to be made and ship here. I've seen and held both cues before and they look very much nicer and better in person. http://www.mastercue.th.com/ Mastercraft cues' prices are exclusive of shipping and I don't think have a dealer in SG. These are full custom cues, have to order from him directly. http://www.mastercraft-cues.co.uk/10040/info.php?p=2&pno=0 These pictures don't do justice to the cues I guess.

Haha sorry. Yes 1/2 cue = half/center joint. 3/4 cue = butt joint. Pic of a 3/4 cue is below. Butt end with female joint is like the pic below. A hole at the butt end to accept/screw an extension. And yes, you literally screw in the extension into the hole. The pic below is also the design I choose. I ran out of ideas on the spot, just look for examples at the cues avaliable and choose this. I wanted some exotic wood, but can't make up my mind. So just go for a simple double white front splice. - $300 Its a simple design I choose and prefer. I've seen some complicated ones like the one below. It has 4 splices. Description = 4 secondary lower splices in "King wood" over blue veneers. This is the most I can take. - $350 I like these British cues too: http://www.mastercraft-cues.co.uk/10040/info.php?p=2&pno=0 - £130 - £130 - £130 - £135 These will cost more no doubt but in British prices, £130 is cheap liao as the very same Mastercue PB4 cost £150 in UK. Prices are exclusive of shipping and if shipping cost £30, its SGD$90!!

Nice pic. Looks cartoonish. I used to have some old F1 cars by Tamiya. Ferrari, McLaren Honda and a Benetton Ford. Did something crazy. In an age where 3/4 snooker cues are all the rage and are considered better, I just custom made a 1/2 cue! I find that 1/2 cues are technically more difficult to use in snooker, especially for cue ball control as the weigh is shifted nearer to the center. I hope my cue ball control will be better when I switch back to a 3/4 one. I also chose a small tip, 9.5mm one. Hoping that my stroke and accuracy will improve and generate copious amount of spin. The reason why I custom made because 1/2 cues with butt end female joint are rare these days. (Want to make use of my extensions) Nothing expensive or extravagant. Only a cheap Mastercue machined 1/2 one just for trying out and getting the feel of a center joint cue again. Been looking at snooker cues these days. Might be ordering a British handmade 3/4 one or handmade Mastercue in the future. I used to view cues as a tool like a tennis racket. I only need one. These days, they look like art to me. Some of the designs are nice but I only like simple designs. Fancy ones are a turn off to me. I'm loosing interest in audio again. lol.
  18. http://www.headphoneclub.co.kr/shop/shopbr...code=004&type=X http://www.earphoneshop.co.kr/html/main295.html No idea what Korean brands are good. Only know Cresyn is not bad.
  19. Yeah its easy and very good for the lazy gamer or weekend side entertainment. I find that 10 teams is just nice, easy to keep track. Too many, see also blur. Just see HWZ one, where you stand, must spend more time to see. lol.
  20. I think its a smart move by apple. Now they got a tag team partner in their corner when the real giant, microsoft makes an entry into the mp3 business. Creative not only win 100m, now they even hold hands with apple liao. Take about all out war, they can end up as lovers! I think the only one that can go head to head against Microsoft is Sony.
  21. You like drums ah? Try a metal band. Metallica's '....and justice for all' album have very good drumming. One of Lars Ulrich (Drummer) finest: 'One'.

Haha must find a place that have a table to put all the amps and earphones. Actually, we can open the VIP room in WCRC and use it as a room for listening to those Audio stuff. Got a big green felt table to protect our gears from scratches and chairs. haha. Still can order food and drinks! Its quiet too! 1 hr approx $9-11. Yes, incredible it was. Ronnie is quite simply the best player in cue sports. Ever heard commentary in Cantoese? My first time too! John Higgins' 147 in LG cup. I remember watching this on espn but its in English though!
  23. Ooooo I chose wrong captain again! Top 3 scorer for week 2: 1. alf amateur squad - 43 2. 17FC & afbug athletic - 38 3. Theatre Of Dreams - 36 Top 3 in league standings: 1 Theatre Of Dreams - 106 2 afbug athletic - 98 3 alf amateur squad -90 I never tot Chelsea will lose and I got 2 Chelsea defenders. But I'm happy! haha. Wayne Bridge seems like a good buy. Cheap and score quite a lot of points already. If he remains in the first team, his price surely sky rocket. So might want to take a risk and buy him. FYI, I got him at 4.5m liao. I tell my rivials good info, nice ah?!
  24. How about you? You be dealer for Alessandro in Thailand. Or you can always take a short flight to Singapore and visit Uncle Wilson. But yeah, it depends on your amp actually. K701 is'nt as easy as a 32ohm Alessandro.

Oh then wait till you get back then. Haha yes, after playing pool and switch back to snooker, everything go haywire. I think I got bitten by the snooker bug after playing snooker again after a long layoff. Not so interested in audio these few days. Been looking a some new snooker cues. Here is something for you guys: Mr maximum; Ronnie "The Rocket" O' Sullivan's 147 break. World record fastest 147 in a competition match: His other 147:
