Very impressive images Blues.

I prefer the less cluttered remote. Plus you can keep the pouch attached unobtrousively on the strap.

Happy Belated Birthday Jeff! Better late than never! Hehehe!

IX already? Maybe version X would bring a more radical change as it still looks too samey to me. They Mitsubishi can do a spin off version xXx!

Accidently chanced upon this site while making a search for the more modern MF Nikon SLRs: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/compa...iny20042006.htm

It really amazes me that you kept all your old gear. Are they all in working condition?

That's where I got my $170 AF 50mm f/1.8 lens from.

Another option if you need it to be closed, foldable & very durable, Sony MDR-V6 (7506). Last info I recall here is that they're available at Mustafa Center for $156.

Goes to show how main stream the sound of this new generation of rock music is. I myself am also not really into Bahasa type music. I blindly bought the CD because of a recommendation & I wasn't dissapointed. Mackie you should get the CD too as generally the sound quality from popular Indonesian artists tend to have good quality recordings. To get back on track, currently listening to: courtesy of Amazon.com with the CD3K, lacks a little impact so might try it again with my other headphones later.

That's the thing with bugs, they look horrible up close.

I've got so many Gmail invites that I don't know what to do with them... Got a tip for anyone with multiple accounts of Gmail/Hotmail/Yahoomail & having a whale of a time checking through them. Try downloading a shareware (20 day trial) program from - http://www.dynadvance.com basically it will work in the background (docks in the system tray) & checks your email accounts without having you to physically log-in to them. Quite useful & seems faster than ePrompter.

Thanks 'rips. Q00: It's "0" at the moment.

Thanks blues. The shots do look under exposed to me but in this case it works because of the mood it conveyed.

Just saw the new 350D today. Didn't realise how small it is till I saw it next to the 20D. I can only imagine how odd & out of proportion it would look fitted with some of Canon's own large telephoto lenses. Still, looks cute though with the kit lens & may be of interest for those who are discouraged by DSLR's typical size & weight.

Does changing the other settings within custom has any affect to the Tone comp.?
-
Just wondering, do you guys use "custom curves"? I've just uploaded "Digital_Fuji_Superia_Reala" (available from: ) to my D70 to see if it will help to reduce the under-exposure characteristics. I haven't tried it out yet though. My understanding is once you've set it via shooting menu - Optimise Image -> Custom -> Tone comp. -> custom - the custom curve is activated, does it mean that if I use any of the other settings other than Custom i.e. Normal, Vivid etc, it will revert back to the default setting?
