  1. Gasp! Found someone who openly declared this on Cnet. Cnet
  2. Target reponse time? 8ms?
  3. You'll never not see them in a long while. Heard that someone from headfi managed to sell his ipod earbuds for US$21.
  4. haa... i may open in one 15 yrs down the road haa.. but certainly IEM is gaining the sg market interest Less of IEM though, more of canalphones. Seeing more and more of them in class, I believe it must be because of the noisy train ride. Too bad they still listen to the canalphoens at such high volumes.
  5. Problem is, that plasma screens have a big power comsupmtion compared with CRTs and LCDs. Panasonic LCDs? Heard that Philips is really popular in Europe, whereas LG, in Asia.
  6. Too bad the market is too small, not much to conquer, unlike in bigger countries. Anyway, we are quite fortunate compared with many other big countries though, in terms of choices.
  7. Welcome to SGheadphones! You may want to post this in the portable audio subforum for more attention. I'm quite sure that a few own this though.
  8. I was hoping for a more predictable answer Parents would prefer a more established brand.
  9. Really a newbie in this LCD panel stuff, but family is thinking of getting a 32 to 37 inch one. Not really too sure of what should be taken note of: Resolution? Contrast? Whether the so called "hard-panel"is better? Mainly looking at the few mainstream brands such as LG, Samsung, Toshiba, Philips and Sony. Budget of about $0 to $2199, though I am almost certain that a 37" is impossible at this low budget.
  10. Agreed, some may be really truthful, but they make the viewers feel really good (like in Apple commercials) and make them sub-consciously buy their products.
  11. No company in the right frame of mind would advertise an absolutely honest statement (not misleading). Did a research project (sounds so important! Just joking, a school based one at that), and found the many subtle techniques of advertising. Most tell the truth, just that it is misleading.
  12. ^ | I wouldn't really say stuck. After all, they are really good shops, in terms of service, pricing, etc, or maybe I'm just biased.
  13. Aren't the CK7s in a totally different range? Also, the EP630s are supposed to be the same as the sharp MD33.
  14. Careful of what you buy though. The PA2V2 was thought to be a bomb by MRT security guards. Remember to check whether you have to declare all that you are going to buy (which seems like a lot). Enjoy your trip though (I suppose that's the most important thing).

Looking without bidding or expressing any interest at all. That's new. Oh, forgot, it has been here all this while. The off-line equivilent is a fascinating activity called window shopping.

Forgot to put the critical word: post here regularly Let's say that there are 100 regular posters, therefore, 100/2000 x 100% = 1/20 x 100% =5%

    hd 25-1

Here: classified post Keep in mind, though, that it is four months old (though it is rather much cheaper than a new one.)

    hd 25-1

Forgive my ignorance. It seems rather weird for manufacturers to make two headphones with similar names, rather confusing, just like the MS2 and MS2i.

    hd 25-1

Someone is selling a used model for $240 in the classifieds. Not too sure if the HD25 is the same as the HD25-1 though.

Then again, how many percent posts here? 5-10%?
  21. Mid-bass is something that is immediately visible (or should I say audible). The so called "Um Chi Um Chi" factor is really one that is judged more than any others, especially for lower end 'phones. The treble is often one of the less outstanding components in a piece of music, so, it is often ignored or cast aside.
  22. Welcome! Yay, another new member! The listed impedance is the same for both headphones (if headphonereviews.org is to be trusted). MS2 on headphonereviews.org MS1 on headphonereviews.org
  23. I believe you could specify to the maker of the molds, especially if it is Westone. I could be wrong though.
  24. What's the word for it? Happenstance? By the way, it is the name of a great album by Rachael Yamagata.
