i'm using SR80 with X-Fi extreme music... thinkin of getting LDM, LD2+ or crossroad or others... portability is not my concern... any recommendations? Does anyone have experience with any of the above amps with SR80?

never heard m-audio cards before... but dont think it'll compare to creative's... i'm using their X-Fi extreme music... u should try out the CMSS-3D in the gaming mode with headphones... When you hear the "rear right" for the first time, you'll turn your head and thought its real... Those who are using one now will know what i mean... strongly suggest that you get this card... in terms of support, they can do RMA in their Marina Sq store... very connvenient...

Totally agree with you. At least we can see a local coy selling MP3 players, PC speakers, webcams, & earphones along side with the major players in the world. At the end of the day, its the quality of the earphones that should be of higher interest. I also see alot of ppl criticising Creative (esp fr Apple wannabes), but we should be more objective towards the quality, rather than the brand.

the retail price is set by the disty... no up to creative... if they wan to mark up their margin, there's nothing creative can do...

Anyone tried different earphones that are bundled with mobile phones, esp sony ericsson (walkman series), nokia (N series) and motorola? I'm using Motorola's E680i... i think the earphones that comes with it is pretty decent, but not sure if there are other phones that bundle with really good earphones....

Just bought the SR80 recently... initially my ears feels sore after abt an hour of use... after abt a month, the headband gets loosen and it's more comfortable now... or maybe i've gotten used to it...
