haha ya who knows, i've got weird ears. I felt that um2 bass is a bit too strong, just a bit, but i dont mind it. It's that it has something missing from um-1 that doesnt sound right. I felt as if the soundstage got worse, its like having the sound coming 4cm away from my ears.

Hehe i tried the sf5.pro and now i tihnk im going to be more of a UE fan. Going to try the eb version before making up my mind. Christmas is coming! WAHAHAH

agreed. Haha.. im thankful i've got weird ears. Sf3 bass is that a bit bloated, but i would say both um1 and sf3 gt their strong points. But i personally prefer sf3 over the um-1 for rock. Which is why i think after testing sf5.eb next week at jaben, i will make my decision on whether i would get the pro or eb

im a darn weird guy with weird ears. I prefered the um-1 over the um2. Probably something to do with my sony mp3 player. But after auditioning sf5.pro, sf3, um1, um2 today, i felt that the superfi5.pro sounds better.
