  11. You meant price range? Yes, definetely they are way apart. But since now we have the chance to experience Orpheus, it would be nice if we can compare it to electrostatic specialist like Stax
  12. Hi, does anyone know whether it's cheaper to buy Stax in Japan? If yes, can you share the right place to go in Japan to get Stax? Does Kingsley have Omega II? Feel like auditioning SR-007 after reading so many positive feedbacks on Orpheus Thanks

  14. No experience with SCD CE595. I guess you have to audition it and compare to other CDPs. However I have very good experience with Sony CDP. I am using today my 15 years old CDP597. Still going strong til today, never gave me headache, lens is still strong. How much is CD595? If you are looking at budget CDP, I think Marantz 5001 is quite a good contender (around $300). In the price range of around $700, you have popular choices like Cambridge Azur 640 V2, Rotel 1072, NAD542. I personally prefer 1 box solution. The transporter+DAC is too complicated for me
  15. A friend of mine bought Sennheiser PX250 and it has active noise cancelling. Ideal for travelling, since it can be folded and not bulky; and it costs much less then Bose
