Anyone collects songs from Animes or their singer albums. Im looking for them and so far can only obtain through online shop. Share with me where u got ur CD and what song you love best. Currently Listening to Kotoko Uzu-Maki CD. One of the song is from the anime Shakugan no Shana second op.

You can also get those small plugs that change a stereo jack into RCA. Those can be easily found in most homefix/diy shops.

I tried some creative speakers today. Couldnt really turn up the volume really high but I personally felt they are on par with some of the better priced speakers out there.

I agree with the above. Drop by SE or any of the other shops and spend maybe an hr slowly testing lol. Personal preference + what you desire is important. For me UMs for the win cause their fit is the best

i feel that when u tell a normal person to spend the amount to get a creative speaker when u can get similar looking (not sound) one at a cheaper price they probably wont. If you ask a person who listen to music seriously they will probably not appreciate creative stuff (isnt that common lol). What is left is people who wants decent quality speakers that wont burn a big hole in the pocket and willing to trust creative lol.

IEMs are really subjective. Depends on your music,preference and needs. Its best as what others say try it yourself. For me confort and sound is equally important as such I go for the UM series of IEMs. I have a ER6i and personally felt that its more detailed then my UM1 but I still used the UM cause its way more confortable. After using the UM2 I feel that the UM family has smth really different from the other IEM so far but I just cant seem to exactly describe what it is lol. For me I think at this price range the IM716 is really good but its also the hardest to drive lol

I use a hornet. Note though IEM are usually quite effecient so what you get out of them is mainly the amps characteristics. In the case of hornet is wider sound stage, forward of vocals and better seperation of instruments. (This are things that I can hear lol)

Maybe you should try some of those not available in SG easily JPOP. For me I love Japanese Anime OSTs so must of my japanese songs originate from there. For now listening to KOTOKO new CD Uzu-maki.

UM1 being quite a easily driven IEM dont benifit much from an amp compared to those harder to drive/multi driver IEM. For me usign the hornet, the improvement makes music more enjoyable but not fantastic cause UM1 just dont benifit much from it lol

Hmm I didnt really want a to furthur cluter up my alrdy messy table with like countless cables snaking everywhere @.@. In terms of clarity is the T20 good? I know due to the lack of a subwoofer, its bass cant really compare to others with it but im not looking for excellent bass here though. Just clear sound with sufficient bass and minimum cables lol.

The lineout docks for ipod are generally cleaner and better in sonics then their headphone out.

Anyone got comments on this speakers and what is the cheapest price u can obtain it. Anyone tried before Creative Gigaworks t20? Personally I want as little cable as possible lol

Just checking if anyone interested to trade a IEM of equilivent price for my MS2i. 3 Months Old comes with Grado Stereo -> Mini Convertor and ms1 pads. Im not selling though, only looking for trades. PM me if anyone wanna trade.

Its probably ur onboard card error or driver. I encounter before such errors. Usually getting a sound card will fix it. Or get a external dac will do fine i guess

The amp on the soundcard is acting like a pre amp while the one on the speaker is acting like the power amp if u want to see it tat way lol. Lineout are main purpose is usually to transferr the voltage only as such the impedence is usually slightly higher. Headphones out have low impedence. I forget the exact reason to it though Line in have very high impedence as they only want the voltage. I believe somewhere in this forum they posted it before. Someone actually ask that question which i think is in the portable or home section.

Im a music lover more then a audiophile if there is classification. However I do want to enjoy my music to the fullest thats where the audiphile part of me takes its path. In the end I believe is as long as you totally enjoy it is the most important factor.

I'll try my best to answer. Its going through double amplification, 1 via soundcard, other via ur speaker amp. The SQ gd or bad is very debatable. First it depends on ur soundcard amp if its good or not. Technically amping a bad source makes bad noise. However if your speaker amp is decently good, it can offset some of your soundcard amp signals as speakers usually have very high impedence resulting in voltage only intake. The amp on your speaker if its gd can technically make your sound better by amping the voltage only which is why ppl tend to connect amps to their setup. However it cant be better then the source can provide lol. The important factor for you is your soundcard. The DAC on it is probably the biggest factor

If you were to get a IPOD, get the video for its loseless format. Though I think its quite weird to use an IPOD to drive such a high grade earphone and planning to use it for home system lol. Amp wise LD2 would be nice.
