  1. Welcome! norseman offers some sound advice (no pun intended!)
  2. Yup! Decided to join a couple of hours ago Take my impressions on the E500 with a pinch of salt. My opinions change every single day because I find out new ways to insert them and new tips to insert them with. LOL IMO, they are easily the best IEM for jazz and rock, but ultimately the ER4 still edges ahead with certain classical genres. The ES2 is darn nice! I've kinda decided on the ACS T2i because word has it that the ACS T2i (an upgraded Sensa 2X-S) has a presentation more similar to the UE10Pro than the ES2 (ie more clarity but less warmth). The ISA Diablo better not be as expensive as the PRII, because I really want it! Bass contour will also be very useful for the ER4P/S...
  3. That's not a lot of money compared to how much Sensaphonics ask for remolding: somewhere in the region of $600 BTW, has anyone compared the ES-2 to the Sensaphonics? rkivie, what are your opinions on ES-2 w/ Hornet vs ES-2 w/o Hornet? Also, is your Hornet one of the earlier ones, the later ones or one of the "M" ones?
  4. It's going to be $$$... I wonder what the massive sheet of metal on top of the amp is? Couldn't Jan have opted for a slightly less dominating "vent-protector"? EDIT: I figured out now. This is actually an expensive cupholder-drinkwarmer
  5. Same as absolut. Warm, soapy water every now and then for the triflanges and foamies. Damp cloth for the cables and body of the IEM.
  6. Judging by the looks and the maturity of the iPod platform, I would recommend the 2G Nano. I had a play around at a shop and it was very easy to use and extremely lightweight. Build quality was also nice.
  7. Wow! That was really interesting! Thanks for the link
  8. It look very nice though! How much is it going to cost?
