think shure one is better cause UE one is long and will make your IEM's plug stick out alot

its sensitivity that produce hiss sound and most high end IEM's sensitive are pretty high if your sensitivity is higher u will likely hear hiss even on low volume cause ipod stock buds are not very sensitive enough

actually ES3 is not suitable for music due to its live acoustics soundstage and very forward mid but nv heard ES1 is not suitable though its juz that for the price of ES1 u can get Dual D so some ppl think its not worth thats wat i heard about it ...

hmm to be honest your ear is pretty strange cause most ppl can't get a good seal with complys think custom is your only way out

actually u can dun use comply u can change to shure's soft flex or clear flex both will last u for like months

to be honest hor both ES1 and Dual D/Tri D are two diff animals so its wise not to jump into a sudden conclusion of upgrading it first

actually Dual D has some diffrence compare to Single D u can feel more sound stage more 3D u can try Sf5pro it sounds better then um2 and its 369

this is how WS3 will looked like in real compared to its predecessor [attachmentid=3750] [attachmentid=3751] as u can see its pretty huge compared to Dual D's Um2

anyway if u like heavy bass u can try out Sf5 EB/um2 both the bass are pretty strong especially 5EB which gives me a headache after use

i have already owned a um1 but i dislike um2's SQ cause its bass was overpowered thats y i am using Sf5 pro as my mainstream Dual D

same same la back to topic- dun think its closed cause i can still hear quite alot of noise in trains and music will leak out i used on my com with Xi-fi/audigy 2 ZS and 5G ipod so impedence is not really an issue actually i like grado's sound and ATH AD series too i prefer more mids and highs rather then low end bass
