I dun know dude but i haf ppl telling me that the myler3 are more value for $ than the spf3 and evnr the spf5. But Whether they are better only ur eyes will tell. But wat can we expect as the mylers are a fraction the price of the UE

actually is there much of a diff between the g4 and 5 that warrants so much more? Like perhaps better parts?

The myler3 sound like the Ue superfi 5eb. They ar quite heavy bass IEm. Dun worry abt the fits, jaben has like thousands of flanges from the single, bi, tri plastic to rubber to spounge flanges. Haha worth a try.

Ya the myler 3 are gd. I totally agree u need biflanges to get a proper fit. But i feel that the bass is a little to hard. The beyer DTX50 has a deep but less punchy bass. I prefer it over the myler 3. Haha all the best in convincing ur son!

Try going to THAT cd shop. THey haf quite gd selections. The Bossa nova with 24bit and 192kb recordings are very gd. If im not wrong they having some offer now for their audiophile voices and love songs editions. Can get 3 for $49.90.

I think the senn 595 and 555 the beyer 880 and 990 will do just fine unless u haf some ultra set up.

Hey loop i heard that the red wine ppl haf come up with the mod for the g5 and 5.5. But i heard the price iis like way more than the g4 as the g5 and 5.5 are smaller and thus harder to mod. Hehe im also thinking of getting one but the estimated cost is correct me if im wrong like $600plus. They said that the Imod has the same DAC as the cambridge audio players and that the chips and capasitors are quite high end. Is that true?

Yes i did a comparison with a zen M with line out, RSA hornet and senn 580. Yup its the van den hui one. I use the nutrix( i forgot how to spell) connectors as the swiss craft and cardas ones i felt were too big to use as a portable( My pouch is not as big lo). Haha i got the shop do for me as the L jacks are dam hard to soulder properly. Plus the cable is quite ex so i dun want to make any mistakes.

How abt the cambridge audios? haha they won the cd player of the year for 4 years running. The maranz 5001 is a gd buy for its price tho.

lol the best u can get is the XRCD jazz in the pawnshop. haha if ur pocket is deep enuff , its like $95. But its the all time favourite classical jazz by worldwide audiophiles.

Well i when on to try and make me own ones. haha i when i get a 501 silver hybrid which cosyt like $1.70 per cm. Never in me life i have thought i will buy such a "wire" ,so ex. Haha i quite happy with that cable is i believe much better than the silver referance. Its not as bright and its cleaner signals.

Gd portable player u say? If u got $ go modify ur Ipod in to a Red wine Imod, Haha its a company in the states. It gonna b very costly to mod but many ppl on headfi say it can match players below 1K.

Yup the bi-flanges work miracles and will give a better fit.
