-
upgrade the IEM. what's your budget?
-
nice review & pix. does it say anywhere in the manual about the diameter of the drivers?
-

for the pros to do, it's around $60. nice to have that safe feeling.

slightly different with MRT, most NC cans are designed to cancel the freq of airplane engine noise within the cabin. and the noise is waay louder than MRT. so in MRT, i find it cancels too broad a freq range, doesn't really work as well as in aircraft.

iqube would also make a convenient match for the 650. but compared to proper desktops with bigger power supplies like the HR-2, not even close. check with Jaben.
-
your hearing aside, i think you should consider about the other commuters. it's plain civil. stick to closed cans or IEMs while commuting.
-
the RSA sound is the way to go for HD650. i would rec the HR-2 over the Raptor though. the HR-2 is more agressive sounding and this makes for a beautifully balanced match with the laidback Senn.

it's an awesome performer for less than $400

count this as 1 constructive post. 48 to go.
-
oops. then i'd rec the D2000 for pop instead.
-
excellent. end of the IEM road.
-
if u love classical & jazz, it's a no-brainer really.
-
well done. when do the LW arrive?
-
if u like armatures, why stop at that? save up for the quadruple armature UE11 customs. u will NEVER go back to TF10 or SE530 again.
-
no i went myself to the pros. din wanna bother wilson when he's too busy.
-
got it from jaben but did impressions at suntec.
-
they did a perfect job for my LW. another great-sounding pair of customs to consider is the Futuresonic Ear Monitors. after being tired of the armature sound, i might consider this. dynamic drivers give more feel of the music than armatures. http://www.futuresonics.com/earmonitors/

yes. go for it. no regrets.

the etys/iqube combo can be too revealing hence the fatique. UE/iqube combo also tire my ears. i love the iqube with Shures and Westones, almost perfectly balanced. it's all about matching.
