  2. he could get a 2nd hand tf10 along the price of 3xx, and then the reshelling price comes in. but still nothing is better than a brand new one of course
  3. Well well, another positive for Stereo! I called the CWP branch on friday to ask about the availability of the JMoney headband for Grados and I was told that they could transfer one over from their PS outlet and I can collect it today. Well I've collected it, and I'm really impressed with their level of service. Kudos to the staff(s) who answered my call and made this happen!
  4. one guy on headfi managed to get UM to upgrade his to a 6 driver variant after his mages were destroyed at work.
  5. The Performance was taken from me before I had the chance to fully try it - so here I am with a mini write-up about the Vocalist. The vocals are impressively sweet and forward, yet it does not overwhelm the rest of the musical spectrum which was totally unexpected. Coming from a line of cryo coppers/silvers/ALO SXC/Crystal Piccolino/Singularity Gold, none of the above has a midrange as engaging as the Vocalist. The highs and lows were pretty decent - good enough for most users who are looking at the Vocalist as perhaps a new entry or an alternate change of sound that has more emphasis on the mids/vocals. Granted, the highs and lows could be alot better (IMO when compared against the bigger boys listed up there - the Crystal Piccolino and such) but taking into consideration their price vs performance ratio I'd say the Vocalist is the most bang for buck product at its price range. As usual, YMMV and my views are strictly my personal one and I'm in no way affiliated to Plexcio Acoustics. Just offering my thoughts on what I thought is a hidden gem. Now I'm wondering what happens if they modify an iPod with the materials in the Vocalist....
  6. I managed to grab the perf from my friend and the vocalist as a review set from Plexcio. Perf my friend still burning in but the Vocalist is a definite bang for buck. The lower spectrum complements the mids and vocals perfectly.
  7. Eh Aron but I read on headfi that they are able to do that already as well as SE530 + 1 driver. And I think someone emailed UM, and they can do a 6 driver upgrade from a SE530 but the price is abit . Not too sure about the TF10 yet though although they said its underway.
  8. lol its kind of ridiculous to expect this price when the order is not that much.

  14. second the ms1, grados, shure and the ath ES7. Comfort wise the clamping force of the ES7 cups might be a bit too strong, but you can do the headband mod to it.
  15. Yet to see a ltd ed custom iem, maybe except for the companies which went bust. hahaha

  21. nope, you have to visit a qualified audiologist. there's mainly 2, digisound (which i went to but was not provided a biting block, i had to bite on the metal tin of my eclipse mints) and ace hearing. ace hearing a little cheaper than digisound i think. pm aron?
