  2. I don't find it ugly, i feel very special and outstanding when used in the MRT. But i took great care on not to disturb people around me. I ever saw one guy with enormous Philip headphone walking around, really very big looking!

Talking about VAT, presently Thailand's VAT is 7%. I heard from someone in Thailand that the VAT will be increased to 13% next year.
  4. Check out this thread for more owners reviews. Dared MP5
  5. You are right, my thai friend already speaking good english but they are in the Uni level. But those working in the service industry also very good. They are really speeding very fast. Talking about their MRT, too bad their passenger rate per day is not as much as ours and number of cabins also lesser.
  6. You only speak to him about it, well you got to listen to it yourself. You are welcome to dropby and experience it.
  7. I suppose you have not listen to the Sun 2A3 driving the Primus 360, i can tell you the results is Amazing! I still figuring out how the world this small watt amp can whack Slipknot like that.
  8. You can go to Electrades at Adelphi. They are the sole agent. Should be level 5.
  9. Try out the Sun Audio 2A3, you will like it.
  10. But does your canare cable able to give more by using much more expensive sockets? The F-12 is very good enough for your usage.
  11. Thanks, i already have a power amp. So looking for a pre to match it.
  12. Hi Chris, do you have any updates on your pre-amp? I'm also considering the Sugden Headmaster as Pre but don't know whether does it sounds good. Any guys have any comments? Thanks.
  13. It cost somewhere 100+. But if you wait until sales, the price after deductions will be around 80 bucks.
  14. Panasonic CT810 also have the same features stated by you plus 200hrs playback.
  15. Where does he intend to use the earphones on?
  16. It is not necessary to see the copper side of the PCB, as long you solder point to point according to the circuit diagram you won't go wrong. Different people got different types of wiring and component layout. So it is pointless to look for the model design. The CMOY is using stereo socket as i/p and o/p, just use the multi-meter to determine which pin is contacting with which part of the stereo plug. From the tip of the stereo plug, L - R - G. When you encounter more doubts, feel free to post your queries here.
  17. I second that. The Grados really a high sound leaker. Now i have a hard time jargaring not to disturb others while i still enjoy the music in the mrt.
  18. After plugging in the stereo plug, you can't see the slopping part cos' already kanna block by the remote protruding tip. Well concealled.
  19. Yup, i had encountered this problem too. But i just use the pen knife slice off a small slope from the stereo plug and that solved the problem. Now the plug fits very well into the remote.
  20. Thank you very much for the explanations.
  21. Guys, i'm kind of confuse here. As i just bought the SR80, the sponge originally is black in colour right? As the cans are open type, i wonder if seal up the openings will helps to reduce music disturbance to people around me in the train.
  22. Thanks Ron, I had paid a visit to the Music by Design just now. Here's my review. Went in, ask for SR60 for audition. Wow, did not expect it was driven very well by the PCDP. The details & the amount of bass depth it produces. After a few tracks, asked for the SR80. Hmmm....the details seems to be smoother & bass are much better in control. Compared with SR60, SR60s highs just a slight harsher but the sponge is very comfortable compared with SR80. I ask that guy for opinion on SR125, he says due to the details limitations of my PCDP i won't be easily differentiate the details with SR80 and the stereo socket is bigger type so can't fit in plus he don't have the adapter plug. In the end, i bought the SR80. Now running in with the track from XLO.
  23. Btw, i had bought the CT810. Any kind souls out there willing to let me audition their Grados?
  24. Thanks guys for the feedback. Probably will bring the PCDP to Hung Bros shop for a audition then proceed to Adelphi for SR60 shoot out.
