N@Z u can't get anything worst than the stock cables. Thats the only 1 thing u can change easily on a mini compo that would really improve the sound. BTW that looks might similar to my DVD home theater system from JVC too..got the very beng blue light when playing discs.

Your ears will get use to the plugs after a while, then it will fit better, initially it might feel that none of the 3 sizes fit nicely, but the medium one will usually feel right after a while. And like lekguan it does not give you total sound isolation, it just cuts down. I can still hear people talking on the bus and mrt.

I hate to say this, but I think its going for $69 at the sony shop on 2nd floor. but since you already bought it.. just enjoy it and dun think too much about it.
