Q. You need his permission to take the pictures of the inside???? There's no secret abt the circuit. I would like to take a look at the workmanship - that's all. And of course the parts.

i glued the box...that's why.....

frankly tell you all....the wire inside is messy....

and using self made shielding method makes it worse... so.....

i really need to make it tidy first before show to you all....

further more... i dont use any lock or screw to lock the case, so the only thing is to glue it...

I think most of us including myself are curious about what opamp are you using? Apparently from some of the post in this thread, the impression we got is you're not using the NJC4556, which is what the real Grado RA1 used. The NJC4556 has a higher current output than the other more audiohile opamps like OPA2132/4. That's why the NJC4556 can drives low impedance headphone better than most Cmoy(most people use the OPA2132/3).
