the cheaper Cmoy?

found this in SLS today

the layout looks very close to a Cmoy, but with some things missing like input caps

its ment to be an amp for speakers i think, but maybe can be converted into headphone amp? unsure.gif

 

the kit comes with a TDA2822 is this also an op-amp?

all the components are included price $13

 

anyone tried this before?

The TDA2822 is a audio power amplifier. Somewhat like the LM386 commonly used in many soundcards. Also similar to the LM3875 used in Gainclones. It's not very suitable for headphones use though. The specs are relatively crappy to begin with.

its a shop call Bytetron Electronics

4th floor SLS #04-04 in the back lanes, first shop in the corner, they hav a lot of audio DIY stuff smile.gif found my blues alps there. can also get DIY kit for tube amp biggrin.gif

bought the regulated power-supply kit today, took about 1/2 hr to build the whole thing smile.gif now to figure out what to do with it biggrin.gif

haha...u all are abusing the facilities in poly...then the poly broke because of u all...

hm...i havent got any free time to try DIY stuff yet..what the... sleep.gif

sigh...i really want to hands on more on audio stuff tongue.gif

 

maybe should learn from jason one day...hehe....

Pfftt!!! My soldering iron is gathering dust after I bought it a little while back. The intention was to solder up the wallwart plug for the PCII. dry.gif

tropicalrips, how much did u bought the power supply for?

the kit cost $11.50 the output u hav to chose different transistor for the voltage u want, i think the transistor is $0.80 the nice lady in the shop will help u decide smile.gif i think she also know a lot about DIY audio stuff

 

saw a lot of Tube-Amp audio stuff there all kit form innocent.gif
