Barradio 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 Hi digi01, I like the sliver volume knob place on the front panel and the headphone jack on top.
lekguan 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 I'd say the silver knob matches well. I think the headphone jack should be better on the front for easy access.
N@Z 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 Wooo... nice... I like the knob (& power switch) on the top but the headphone socket (& inputs) on the side to prevent cable stress & accidetly hitting the tubes. Can I see what it looks like with the black vol knob on & how about configuring the tubes in a diagonal pattern if it doesn't affect the innards.
digi01 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 thank you everyone then I will set up the silver knob on the top. here is the black knob review, all right? sorry for the unclean photos. My F717 has borrowd,I have to use a low pix camera.
N@Z 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 Don't worry, the photos are fine. Out of curiosity, what circuit design will the mini tube amp be based on? Will it be requiring a seperate AC power supply?
digi01 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 it is a high version earmax archetype based headamp.using a a seperate AC power supply. the amp is still in progress.when finished,I will take some photos again. BTW,thank you again, the suggestion is very helpful
