Mackie 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2005 The scoreline is a plus but what encourages me is the method of play. Too long have they been running head-long into the center of defence and tried to penetrate by lobbing high balls into the opponent's penalty area when our strikers are usually short. The Lions made full use of the wings and penetrate through crosses from byline. Now that's both interesting to watch and effective too. Their fitness has also improved by leaps and bounds.
