Firefox 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2005 I think it's 2 phono amps. The one on the right is obviously an EAR 834P. Not too sure of the left piece though.
Rameish 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2005 That's a Monolithic Prono amp with seperate PSU. It's being compared to the EAR834P
lengcm 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2005 Anyway some information about this new cdp. It has a choice of a tube output using a pair of 12AU7s or a solid state output. Upsamples all the way till 768kHz.

lengcm 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2005 (edited) I guess at the end of the day is the synergy between the cdp, the amp and the speakers. Edited February 15, 2005 by lengcm
Q00 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2005 which btw, brings me to this question, no impressions yet?
lengcm 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2005 Can't do that. The cdp, amp, all the tubes and the speakers are burning in.
Firefox 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 A pic of the insides of the Cary303/300 taken from the cary website Looks well designed.. Mechanically as well.. They seem to have redesigned the loader mech. Should be more sturdy.. Good use of R-core, bobbin transformer as well.. They're known to be better for digital supplies. Tranditional E/ C core type transformer for the tube stage too.. Nice... Neat layout as well.. You've definitely got what you paid for... Remember to invite me over once the burn-in is complete.. LOL..
