Update on X-Cans Replacement

I have little more info on the next headphone amplifier from Musical Fidelity.

It is due to be released around Sept 03 and will be priced at around £200.

It will still use valves but will have a new (and I am told really attractive) case design but not a cylinder more of a convention rectangular box.

It will still have only one headphone output but will have an improved outboard plug-in power supply.

There will also be a new phono amp in the same casing.

Expect an announcement in the next month or so.

As a happy owner of an X-Cans V2 I am looking forward to this new one.

The forthcoming V3 may see a flurry of V2 in the used market....suits my plan to pick up one of these as I'm still using the V1. tongue.gif

(Unless my market analysis turns sour...... blush.gif )
