Rameish 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2006 The audio chip used in the iRiver H3xx series are infamous for its sound quality and clean signal. Why infamous? Were they that bad?

aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2006 There's one (h320) being sold at the classifieds for a rather low price... Really tempted, but no good reason to buy it, neither do I have the cash.
dle4e_2005 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2006 ' date='27 Aug 2006, 12:28 AM' post='75689'] Wow, sorry to hear about that. Anyway, I think that the iAudio X5L and the iAudio U2 have true line outs.. Anyway can we go off topic once in a while? the iaudio U2 does not have Line Out..... it only has Line In......
jasonhanjk 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2006 ' date='26 Aug 2006, 03:41 AM' post='75559'] the word "infamous" here isn't used quite right. It gaved me the impression that the H3xx had baaaad sound quality and a rather "cleeean" signal. I digress. H3xx series had never any TRUE line-outs. THey are shared with the volume and that is one thing that i hate about it. *rant* : damn that hiss when i plug in anything!! It may be a true line-out, only that a badly design could make a hiss like that.
