local available amp that does not hiss with um2

I'm wondering what amp is available locally that does not hiss or hiss the least with um2.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but ALL of the amps you mentioned have hiss with the UM2

 

Having said that, the Go-Vibes have the least objectionable amount of hiss. So be warned if you freak out the merest hint of hissing

Atteunators might help eliminate your hissing problems.

Right now I'm using Shure atteunators with LDM+. Just feel it's a hassle to carry that around.

 

The hiss can be quite irritating for me if the music track goes into silent for a moment.

 

The only amp I know that does not hiss is probably RS Hornet and it's not available locally with a high price tag.

 

Wonder what other options do I have.

You may want to add a resistive load between the amp and the IEM. It helps.

Personally, I find the LDM+ has lesser amount of "hiss" as compared to Crossroads and I tried it with UM2 and didn't really notice the "hiss", it's there but tolerable.

LDM+ hiss can be heard quite loudly when turn the vol. but when music is playing, it quite soft.

yup, moving to the more fun soundings instead of my usual clinical soundings taste.

 

Just to addon... a pretty big damage to my wallet...90% of my pay gone

but nvm, treat it as a bday gift for myself since its near the corner lol

Take your time to listen to UM2 and slowly decide what kind of music presentation is more suitable for you.

 

Play around with different kind of amps to tweak the overall presentation.

 

There are still E500, ES2, UE 10Pro, ER4 available for upgrades=p

remember to play around with different mini-to-mini or mini-to-RCA interconnects too,

Yotiao's right, I used to have the slight hiss problem but after I change my IC the hiss seems to disappear, stock cables are terrible and if you're using LDM, then give cardas hp-I a skip because the hiss was still apparent after I use them.

Cardas IC is very warm sounding. And yes, the hiss is still there if you use it with the LDM+/Crossroads.
