UE 5EB or ER-6i or which IEMs for powerful bass?

Recommended Posts

Just got myself a iPod Video (5.5) Sunday evening. Now I am on the hunt for IEMs, since finding iPod providing a rather neutral sound setting, awfully lack in bass for me.

Which IEMs do you guys recommend for bass emphasised performance?

Thanks in advance!

sf5pro has very good bass for me. solid tight punchy bass without being boomy, even when i kept cranking up the volume which i felt invited to. like what aron said, it's like driving a ferrari, it just gets better as you continue revving.

for warmer bass go for westones... um1/2 :D

for punchy and tight bass, UE sf3/5 pro :yeah:

Go for 5eb only after you have tried everything else and they dun satisfy u.

The bass on those is Really muddy and muffles everything else.

Only a true basshead like xErTiNi will appreciate it.

If he really like bass that is Really muddy and muffles everything else.

then for $100 and below,EX71 would suit him well..

But then there will be a lack of isolation (IMO)

(referring to thread starter..)

Of cause not.

Since he is still using EP630 now..

the comfort and isolation would be a great upgrade for him.

But not the clarity.. :P

Last time when i first got it,it is considered by me as the best earphone until i got the cresyn e630 and im716.. :yeah:

I guess I will heed to the advice here, head down to try them out. Ah, kind of tough for 5EB eh?

I will be looking out for the UE sets then. Thanks guys!
