Slivester 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2006 Just got myself a iPod Video (5.5) Sunday evening. Now I am on the hunt for IEMs, since finding iPod providing a rather neutral sound setting, awfully lack in bass for me. Which IEMs do you guys recommend for bass emphasised performance? Thanks in advance!
theory_87 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2006 nv get 5eb... but it does provide the heaviest bass on earth for IEM... ety is known for tiny bass... for bass, um2, e5 and e500 is the one...
ahdui 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2006 i will recommend sf5 which has a tighter bass den um2.
Zephyron 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2006 One man's meat is another man's poison. I'd recommend trying them out yourself in either SE or Jaben.

rapier84 0 Report post Posted September 24, 2006 yupz...try first...but if you are a basshead then the 5EB should be your cure
ralli`fto 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2006 I agree with most pple abt the 5eb. Only get it if you are a basshead. The bass just so... overwhelming.
Theatre Of Dreams 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2006 sf5pro has very good bass for me. solid tight punchy bass without being boomy, even when i kept cranking up the volume which i felt invited to. like what aron said, it's like driving a ferrari, it just gets better as you continue revving. absolut 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2006 There is only one for bassheads: The E5. The UM2 is a little bit more balanced while the 5EB really does make a mess when dealing out bass...
That dude 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2006 for warmer bass go for westones... um1/2 for punchy and tight bass, UE sf3/5 pro Go for 5eb only after you have tried everything else and they dun satisfy u. The bass on those is Really muddy and muffles everything else. Only a true basshead like xErTiNi will appreciate it.

That dude 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2006 (edited) But then there will be a lack of isolation (IMO) (referring to thread starter..) Edited September 25, 2006 by That dude
dle4e_2005 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2006 (edited) But then there will be a lack of isolation (IMO) Of cause not. Since he is still using EP630 now.. the comfort and isolation would be a great upgrade for him. But not the clarity.. Last time when i first got it,it is considered by me as the best earphone until i got the cresyn e630 and im716..
