Accupower 270 9v battery available in SG?

Hi Guys, does anyone know where can i get the above in SG?

mouz, be careful. I remember someone complain this is too fat to fit into the case. Try to search headwize to see if you can find the post.

you have to file the battery contacts down no matter which battery you use.

this is the one amb uses. has the slimmest profile.

anything other then this (and alkaline 9v) cant fit.

fyi. im using the powerex 9v 300mAh. i had to file my battery down.

OMG, u actually file the battery itself to fit it into the case? BTW, where did you get ur powerex 300? available locally?

its not available locally.

need to order from overseas.

locally only can get the 270mAh 9.6V which is the same size.

so yeah just get the 270 9V accupower which is slimmer and you only need to file the contacts.

Just called them but they are only holding powerex 9v 230mah. Thanks for the tip anyway I'll continue looking for other sources

Btw what do you guys think about not-so-reputated rechargable batteries?

 

I just bought one, it says Product of Singapore, 210mAh. But I doubt its really up to the 210mAh mark...

dig out this old thread...other than Thomas distribution, where else can I get this Accupower battery?

 

Vpost has classified battery as prohibited item so they are not shipping it anymore
