iewgnail 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2007 The words on the panels are a lil grey. I cant seem to make them white. And i got the panels fabricated free! Actually can make even more, i just need to pay for acrylic. Btw, the default screws seem fine and has a low profile. I was initially quite worried as it didnt have countersunk holes. It comes out well. Sidetrack a lil.

adn6244 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 Thinking of getting one but glassjar only sell the whole kit with all the components included. Give me till next week to decide. If I buy, and you are still keen I will order for you. If you are getting one earlier than end of next week...do let me know. Thanks.
heady 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 Glassjar's kit is good. It is hard to buy smt components in small quantities. For example, resistors from Farnell, you need to buy 50 of each value. And you can't find smt components in SLT. Plus the PCM chip is already S$19.00, plus another about S$10 for the two regulators. On top of that, the electrolytic capacitors supplied are good quality, audiophile quality. I am not agent for glassjar.
