Morgan Wu 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 Has anyone got the new Apple In-Ear that has got 2 drivers in them yet? Apple In-Ears
palestofwhite 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 (edited) I'd like to try them with my new i-Qube... We have some reviews at Head-fi, but I'm not sure if anyone here will want to actually spend to try it out. Edited December 24, 2008 by palestofwhite
Morgan Wu 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 Lol, iQube... I guessed so. Those apple in-ears are a beauty, if their sound matched SF5 or even TF10, Shures and UEs are in trouble... The apple in-ears will be a steal at 79USD..
palestofwhite 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2008 They do look really nice and easy but some had complaints about the tips. I guess doing a little Mod or something might actually improve on the stock.

kookie 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2009 heard someone tried it and said it sounded more like an entry Single Driver IEM.. xD
Morgan Wu 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2009 I guess... it takes skills on Apple's part to turn a 2 driver earphone into a single driver one.. If Kookie's statement is accurate of course.
palestofwhite 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2009 (edited) They may be well on their way. If it was even their plan to improve on the signal path from DAC to Line Out for the 6th generation iPods, in favour of RWA's iMod. I can see that they are trying to reach out to people who pays and actually care for their sound. Edited January 15, 2009 by palestofwhite
glenncain 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 wah we better hope and pray they could do that. alternatively their marketing might go "our ipod has pure signal like the imod now, dun need imod, PLUS YOU CANT MOD IT ANYWAY". then xiao liao. lol. talk about snake oiling
Gabzai 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2009 wouldn't the white earphone get dirty easily or turn yellowish??
peanutbutterjam 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2009 heard someone tried it and said it sounded more like an entry Single Driver IEM.. xD If that means it sounds like the ER-4 then it seems like a winner. Though i don't think so
Morgan Wu 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 (edited) Haha, peanutbutterjam, i dont consider a ER4 a 'entry level IEM". Edited January 30, 2009 by Morgan Wu
