    Muvo^2 help

What birate did you compress your songs? And what songs do you listen to?
  2. You can try this site. http://store.yahoo.com/earplugstore/cusfitearmol1.html PS. I am not affliated with the site and have not dealt with them before.
  3. Same flower? Did you twist the petals to achieve the retro look for the 2nd pic? The 2nd pic really good. Much, much better than the 1st one.
  4. If your source has a line out, it may be worthwhile getting an amp. Not only will it boost the volume, but it should also provide you with better sound.
  5. Not properly grounded? Maybe this forum can help: http://www.misticriver.net/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=83 PS: You avatar really giving me a headache!
  6. It looks real solid. I don't believe that the sound produced would be much better than those cheaper versions. Perphas only very slight improvement maybe. Personally feels that it is overpriced. Bargain hard when you are buying. The fair price IMHO is $25.
  7. Talking about the Ipod, does anyone knows whether the Ipods sold in Singapore are similar to the Euro or US version. Understand that the Euro version has its output reduced due to a law in France. However, there is a hack out there for it.
  8. Panasonic RP-HJE50, bought at Song Brothers (Jurong Point Branch) for $54. Koss KSC75 from Hung Brothers for $44. (from the slightly plumb girl with golden hair)

Looks pretty good. But got 1 comment. The switch seems quite close to the vol control.
  10. New Sony flash MP3 player. http://www.sonystyle.com/intershoproot/eCS...SS_FlashPlayers Comes in color and with 50 hrs of playback time.
  11. idkfa, I might just drop down for the meet. But cannot confirm at this time. Only able to tell if I am free somewhere closer to the date. Will add my name to the list if I am available. Very interested to go.
  12. Believe that idkfa is organizing a meet. Will help you in your quest. Get more details from his signature.
  13. Have one of the Iriver flash player, the 390 and the sound coming out of this baby is excellent. Better than the Creative Muvo2 1.5g. Both have on board equalizers, and definitely at least 4 bands each, if I recall correctly.
  14. The Singapore creative online shop still reflecting the old prices. Hope that this will change during the IT show.
  15. Noob when it comes to soldering, as well as diy. Agree with Firefox (hey, I'm using you right now) that a socketed one would be better. Appreciate the work that you have done in getting this out to us and with detailed instructions, no less. Do keep up the good work.
  16. I would tend to agree with idkfa. Chuck the stock headphone and get a better one. For MP3 player, it has been noted that the Iriver and Creative line of players sound better with the Ipod. The other advantage that these players have over the Ipod is customizable equalizer. IMHO, the Etymotic series would probably suit your kind of music more.
  17. Agree that the Zen Micro is better sounding than the Ipod. So is the Iriver, I might add, although some people might not agree with this statement. But at $348 (after a $100 drop) and with a more than 18 hrs battery, the Ipod has a lot of people's attention now. Hope that Creative can respond in kind.
  18. Have read the PC Mag Review of 2nd Gen Ipod Mini and according to the article besides the increased battery life, the sound has also improved, in particular the lower freq. Here's the link: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1772484,00.asp
  19. Heard the shuffle 1g version, curtesy of my bro-in-law with the default cans. Felt that a better headphone would do wonder for the sound. But apparently, he is satisfied with the default ones. Well, to each his own, I guess. Actually wanted to recommend the e3c to him, but refrain from doing so.
  20. Personally, I would say the MDR888 beats the hell out of the MDR81, soundwise. Definitely, not recommended as an upgrade. For around $100, perhaps a better option would be to try headphones instead of earbuds or canalphones.
  21. Absolute0, good recommendation! Depending on your budget and also the source. Understand that the Ipod has a line out and the Zen does not. Because of this, believe that the Ipod will benefit most from using an amp. If you like customisation, go for the Supermacro. Believe it also has the option of a bass boost.
