If you're like me who have the creative 630 and recently out of boredom bought the senn cx300, you'll know immediately without burn-in that cx300 and the ep630 are different in their own way. At least on my ipod video the cx300 sounded more detail compared to the 630 in most pieces of jazz and classical. But i bit regretted buying the senn on impulse, wonder if the westone um1 would be a more worth purchase.... My wife was asking me the other day if I was trying to out number her earring collection with my headphones and earphones..... since I hang them like her earrings.

The AD series sound differs from model to model, but two things I've noted the last time I had a good chance to compare them was, "detailness" and "openess". I often find the AT headphones more comfortable for long hours, compared to my HD600 and K701.

All sennheiser should have warranty card, but they also need to check your receipt that you purchase on the date you stated on the warranty card ( clever move) and that you made your purchase from a local dealer since its local warranty. Heng my headphone broke down before the warranty expire.....

I once came across a fake E4c in china that I can't tell the different until the guy told me its fake.... I think I read somewhere Shure USA crack a counterfeit shipment in Thailand just late last year. scary......

Although the china dvd player + power amp works but for the price I would rather invest on a entry level Yamaha av receiver ( $300++?), moreover, home theatre isn't all about sound and its impossible to achieve good picture quality with the Akira dvd player even if you have the best component cable, at least a entry pioneer or sony player will do more justice to the system. I also found that most china dvd players with decoder built-in have very minimum calibration options compared to av receivers like marantz, yamaha or denon ( even the cheapo ones) therefore there is little you can do to make the system sound better later. So for maybe the same price, the yamaha amp and sony dvd player might not have the power of the JBLs but surround wise, should be a better approach. Just my suggestion....

I appreciate the fact that stereo is open and honest with its prices even in this competitive market, save me the trouble to call or drop by some shops to know how much they charge, whether stocks are available or any latest news, although they don't usually offer discounts after they set a price but that's so much better than needing to know the owner or bargin like hell at certain shops.

If you are not limited to LHS, you may want to try WBTs. You can get them from Atlas Hifi. Not too sure about the price, but they are nice RCA jacks both in built and sonics. I don't think the WBT will fit the budget. Might need to top up a LITTLE BIT MORE.

I checked with Stereo and according to them, stocks for W5000 should be in this week or the next, I already reserved a set for my brother in law.

I just hope that people who comment that diy cables are better, have actually heard the monster RCA to mini before and not putting it off just because it's "THX", "monster" and "mass marketing + widely available". Cables shouldn't be mark better or not by the cable or plug itself but also by the equipment that goes along and the listener's "personal taste for music.
