sounds like maybe your cable may have being damaged due to improper handling, or you could try placing your earphone in a sealed bag with a pack of silicons for a day or two and see if its alright, if not you should bring it down and have it rmed.

yes, the ESP950 is pretty awesome..it dwarfs the DT880s/AKG701 in clarity and Soundstage.. btw, you guys should try this one when u get the chance... pretty nice...almost no leakage of sound unlike ksc75..and soundstage is enhanced due to its dual transducers..
