she just had a makeover.. and seems to be swamped with tons of interviews. hopefully the makeover doesn't reduce her appeal and the interviews dont distract her from the competition.

5pro really cheap second-hand nowadays, you might wanna give it a shot to save money

for ~$150 there's a lot of IEMs you could try.. Phonak Audeo PFE, superfi3, UM1 etc.

use it at home? or sell it for half price then get IEMs. haha. ES7 should be sellable man.

I wouldn't call the SR80 very bassy. They're very forward and might be quite bright like most grado headphones. Good for rock though i'm not so sure about other genres.

you might not wanna rule out 2.0 alternatives like the A2, they're small and good too.

I'd go with starquad if you're just starting out. It's 3 to 4 bucks per metre and the quality is good.

Smooth and open just screams sennheiser. you can't go wrong especially with hd600 and 650 (but they're not sub-$200 )

In a normal potentiometer, the audio signal passes through the thin carbon track, even in some high end pots like ALPS blue velvet, so this may degrade the audio performance. In the stepped attenuator, the audio signal only goes through 1 resistor, thus maintaining as much sound quality as possible.

Hmm.. how much does that cost? Does it have variable temperature function like a soldering station does? ESD safe?
