I agreed with bpribadi RS-1 are much better. For me the DT 880 sound lifeless compare it on my setup. Micro-zolt with EMC-1up/X-Ray.

X-Ray don't have HDCD and also no up sampling (24/96).

I think that arc welding do introduce other metal (the wielding rod) to fusing the conductors together.
