I think mentioned it before, more comfy than the bowls & it also gives more bass slam. I have the original flat pads but I don't want to use it as due to our climate here the aging process is starting to take it's toll on the material causing it to come out on some parts. Thought about replacing them but the new run is pricey & quite frankly it is not as forgiving in terms of comfort as the Senn pads. Sonically it will be truer but at the expense of comfort, which for me will detract from the enjoyment.
