jasonhanjk 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2003 (edited) When trying to use the PPA with OPA637. It oscilates at a frequency of MHz. The worse thing is it shows up high DC offset of 5V on my osciloscope. The next thing I knew, playing any musics will lightly distort on the left phone. Ouch. This teach me lesson not to try expensive phone on trial amp. Maybe I sell $20 at the garage. Blues lai...Karang guni item. I really like it on the headphone presentation of violin and the big violin that stands on the floor. What do you call that? yongchris 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2003 (edited) YES. That's the word. Does anybody come across Mayoyo CD's anyway. Nice cello. check out gramaphone at stamford building. in the classical section, they have a shelf full of yoyoma CDs. Check out this particular CD that he did with Bobby McFerrin. titled HUSH Very nice. Bobby McFerrin's unique vocals matched with Yoyoma's beautiful cello. Their version of "Air on G" and "Ave Maria" is magical. http://www.allstarz.org/yoyoma/discbobby.htm His tango CD is also very nice to listen to. yongchris 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2003 Jason If you like Cello AND Metallic. There is a cello quartet that covers metallica and other speed metal classics on cello. The group is called Apocalyptica. I think I recommended them in the recommend music thread. They are awesome. Chris If I come for the meet, I'll bring some demo CDs

Burn in for 2 hours. I think that high DC offset made it magnectic or something. Lucky not a loose diaphram. Change the thread to reflect current status.
