tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2005 I find that for AF the 50mm f/1.8 works better using spot metering with the D70. me too, i used center-weighted metering for the shot.

Q00 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2005 Looking at the pics and some of the older rollsroyce/bently models reminds me of another automobile that i really like, the hotrod. Any hotrods over there in brunei? Sorry for the OT.. Beautiful shots, you couldnt get any closer for some closeup shots??
N@Z 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2005 No "Hot Rods" sadly. Rules & regulations here are quite strict concerning modifed cars, much like SG. Did photbucket resized the images? I didn't check. A few images from that earlier set were above 250KB. I'm not done yet BTW! Those were the teasers, too many to post in one go. Didn't fancy putting just a link to the folder. Looks nicer as clickable thumbnails in the post. Here are the classic cars:
tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2005 very nice N@Z did u shoot these with the 50mm? or the kit lens?
N@Z 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2005 Thanks, I brought along only the Kit lens as I thought I needed the flexibility. As it turned out there was plenty of room for me to move around had I used the 50mm f/1.8 however I wouldn't have been able to sneak in that 'golf cart' shot as it whizzed past hence the slight out of focus image. Are the thumbnail images coming out ok? I'm having trouble seeing them load properly in the posts. Don't tell me I've run out of bandwidth already! 1st set should have 9 images, 2nd set 18 & this final set 12 of the more modern models:
tropicalrips 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2005 (edited) i'm using imageshack now, i load the thumbnails in there too, use the direct link address for both thumb and actual pic, seem to work ok some shots with the 28mm sigma, i love what this lens is able to do under low light conditions my fren's hand those are real tattoos one more from my MRT series Edited March 11, 2005 by tropicalrips
