red_ryder 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2005 Hi guys! I just came back from a business trip to Boulder Colorado! Beautiful scenary, my pics don't do justice to it. Any comments are most welcome! Pics taken with a Fuji S1 Pro and Nikon 28-80mm lens. Too bad the camera died when it got too cold in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Even my spare Li batteries couldn't revive it. heady 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2005 red_ryder, very nice pics. Cold weather always kills the batteries. Even Nikon has a special battery pack which you are supposed to put inside your jacket to keep warm and it connects to the camera thru a long wire. But for us, maybe we keep the batteries warm under the jacket before inserting into camera. I have brought the Fuji only to Australia in winter time and it works ok but never to below zero.
