lengcm 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2003 Hi all, recently I have just sent my X-can V2 to Pinkie (aka Pink Floyd in headfi) for modifications. The following was done: 1.Changing of the capacitors 2. Changing the valves (tubes) to Mullard 1970 gold pin. I have yet to receive the X-can V2 from him but once I get it I will post a short review. I have some pics of the modified X-cans but dunno how to post them. Can anyone give me some pointers?

lengcm 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2003 No problem at all, but the review is going to take some time as it requires about 500hrs to burn in the new caps. In addition I will be going for holidays. Any once I have settled down I will post a review on the X-can v2, X-feed with Equinox (just arrived today).
Northern Oak 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2003 To make it look cooler, I would suggest changing the LED to cool blue. Try it out.

Northern Oak 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2003 Just a very simple soldering of two pins and getting the right sized LED, that's all.
