dle4e_2005 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2006 TS still havn't change the title. How about the Sennheiser Orpheus HE90 since it is a really have very nice Sound quality? Jokes aside. It would be better if TS list out his budget and the type or genes of songs he listens to.

norseman 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2006 Some of the oem items in silver foil/plastic packaging have been reported as fake items elsewhere. For iems around your budget you can look for e2c, um1, sf3, im716, d-jay, e6i, ck7. For headphones there's ms1, k81dj, ad400, ad500... Just to name a few... aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2006 In my opinion, the CK7 looks the best in the sub-$150 canalphone/IEM range. Grados/Alessandros look pretty good too.
radioactive28 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2006 just a word of warning: i believe there's no such thing as cx300 oem. sennheiser seems to use their own drivers. the oem is more for creative's ep630. if you want a head-turner, can try out the grado sr60/80, good value for money

aaron-xp 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2006 (edited) SE is in Causeway Point. Stereo Electronics. On the third or fourth floor, if I didn't remember wrongly. Jaben is in Adelphi, opposite Funan. Top floor, near the staircase. Both allow testing of Grados. I know the MS2 is available for testing at SE, but not sure about MS1. norseman 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2006 MS1 is supposedly better than sr60 and sr80, but ymmv. For auditioning grados you can also try music by design, also in adelphi.
