Blues 0 Report post Posted August 1, 2003 (edited) heh.. what else can you expect dt880 is like a big brother to akg I mean 501 is a fine phone with enormously larga soundstage and all.. but 880 is superior in every aspect.. so it isn't worth keeping the akg with them. evil-zen 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2003 I found that soundstage is bigger on K501 but it may be excessively large and fake. Morever the beyer 880 does a step better by having depth as well.
