Which DAP's SQ better than 1st Gen Ipod Shuffle?

Yoz, im looking for a new DAP, whose SQ has to be better than the 1st Gen Ipod Shuffle. I want it portable, so no amps for me thanks! I have tried Iriver h340, Ipod 3rd, 4th and 5th Gen, not my liking, 1st Gen ipod shuffle still ok to me, looking for something better, welcome your comments.

Doesn't take too much to completely and utterly squash the iPods, if the 4G iPod I heard is representative.

 

iriver and Creative are the better of the lot I've heard, but Creative's on the bassy side.

yup creative's SQ is definitely better than ipods. but i gotta agree that its quite bassy. for a basshead like me, its very enjoyable.

 

iriver's not bad too. on par with creative if not better. iaudio seems good too. look around, better still go test and see which one is more pleasing to ur ears.

hey dude, you might want to try iaudio's line of products, SQ is pretty good IMO, but might be a little bit pricy

Why didn't you compare those DAPs with the Ipod Shuffle 1st Gen in the first place?

Be careful with your language here as there is some teenage around here too.
